At Kingdom FIT, we believe fitness is more than just physical—it’s a spiritual journey of discipline, perseverance, and transformation. Starting July 1, we're calling on our community to engage in a powerful challenge rooted in both effort and endurance: The 40 Days and 40 Nights MyZone Challenge.
This challenge is inspired by one of the most symbolic durations in scripture—40 days and 40 nights—a number often associated with preparation, testing, and divine purpose. From Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 24:18) to Jesus fasting in the wilderness (Matthew 4:2), 40 days is not just a timeframe—it’s a journey toward something greater.
Now, we’re bringing that sacred rhythm to Kingdom FIT through a fitness lens.
🔥 What Is the 40 Days and 40 Nights MyZone Challenge?
From July 1 to August 9, 2025, participants will compete to earn the most MyZone Effort Points (MEPs)—a measurement of real-time heart rate-based effort. It doesn’t matter how you move—whether in the gym, outdoors, at home, or during a Kingdom FIT class—as long as you’re putting in the work, it counts.
💥 Whoever earns the most MEPs by Day 40 will win a $50 Kingdom FIT gift card.
But more than a prize, this challenge is about progress, persistence, and commitment. It's about training your body and sharpening your mind—just like the heroes of faith who endured their own 40-day seasons.
✝️ Why 40 Days? The Biblical Tie-In
In the Bible, the number 40 often represents a season of transformation:
Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights in the wilderness before beginning His public ministry (Matthew 4:1-2). It was a time of testing, growth, and deepened reliance on God.
Noah endured 40 days of rain during the flood (Genesis 7:12)—a time of cleansing and new beginnings.
The Israelites wandered 40 years in the wilderness before entering the Promised Land (Numbers 14:33-34)—a journey of preparation and refinement.
Moses stayed on Mount Sinai for 40 days as God revealed His law (Exodus 34:28)—a sacred moment of revelation and purpose.
At Kingdom FIT, this challenge represents our own wilderness moment—a time to dig deep, push forward, and discover the strength that only comes through endurance.
“But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31

🧠 The Mental Shift: Spiritual and Physical Grit
This challenge isn't just about getting in shape—it's about cultivating discipline, resilience, and focus. These are traits every believer needs both in the gym and in life.
Just like Jesus in the wilderness, we’ll be tempted to give up, to take shortcuts, to stop showing up. But this is where transformation happens. Spiritual growth and physical health are born in the moments you choose perseverance.
Let your workouts become a form of worship—an offering of gratitude for the body you’ve been given and a reflection of the strength God placed in you.

🏁 Day 41: The Reward
When the 40 days conclude, we won’t just celebrate one winner—we’ll celebrate a community that showed up, stood firm, and grew together.
On Monday, August 11, the top performer will receive a $50 Kingdom FIT gift card, but everyone who participated will walk away with something more valuable: a renewed sense of purpose, strength, and momentum in their fitness journey.
🙌 Final Thoughts: This Is More Than a Workout
When you commit to this 40-day journey, you’re not just chasing points. You’re stepping into a deeper calling—to honor your body, to strengthen your mind, and to walk out your faith through consistent action.
We’re not asking for perfection—just persistence.
Whether you’re new to fitness or a Kingdom FIT veteran, this is your chance to recommit, refocus, and rise up with your community. Let this challenge remind you: with God, all things are possible—including your goals.
Ready to start? Join us July 1 and let’s grow stronger—together. 💪
